Open to psychotherapists of all modalities and trainees in the final two years of training.
Sensing, thinking, feeling and moving are deeply connected, as ever-changing processes, coursing through our body-minds, impacting our relations with the environment and each other.
Over five sessions, we will throw light on somatic processes of presence through movement scores based in Fundamental Developmental Movements; Letting go of Things; Relational Play and Moving to Music. Through these scores we can gain deeper understanding of how to support ourselves to be with otherness and difference.
With a background in dance, emilyn has spent the past 15 years working as a choreographer, performance artist and Gestalt psychotherapist. These sessions draw from the knowledges of both fields of practice.
Wear comfortable clothing for movement that includes lying on the floor. We’ll work with bare feet (or socks).
Participants are invited to sign up for all sessions to gain the most from the practices. emilyn will provide participants with certificates of CPD hours if required.
