Future Ritual amplifies the enlivening and transformative potential of performance art.

Against the alienation and fragmentation of contemporary life, Future Ritual creates and holds spaces for curious publics to gather, to think and to feel through place, desire, belief, loss and mystery.

We are based in Peckham (London) and work from STUDIO: Future Ritual.

Dani d’Emilia

Dani d’Emilia / Dani d’Em (they/them) is an artist, educator, curator and researcher working across performance and visual arts, somatic practice, radical pedagogy and social–ecological justice.

Their art-life practice is grounded in transfeminist and decolonial/countercolonial sensibilities and guided by a yearning for what they call metabolic intimacy: an embodied attunement to the web of inseparability that connects all relations, human and more-than-human.

Since 2014, Dani has developed an extensive body of work around the concept-practice of Radical Tenderness, exploring how it can help reconfigure connections between reason, affect and relationality through political practices of healing that cultivate visceral response-ability.
